| Dr. Herb Bandemer passed away on October 7, 2008 at the age of 83. His three children, and wife of 59 years reminded us of Dr. B's mantra: "IF GOD BRINGS ME TO IT... HE'LL GET ME THROUGH IT." Dr. B hired Laura as a kennal kid at Storybook Farm Veterinary Hospital when she was 14. |
| Spring is full of great excitement for the Ouimette family. Jake is out back every chance he gets to enjoy tennis ball tosses from his best friend Maya. This often leaves him coming in looking more like a chocolate lab due to the amount of mud in our backyard. Thomas is talking up a storm here at home but plays "Mr. Mute" whenever we are out and about. Thomas's recent interests include Curious George, Snoopy, Pooh and friends, and Babydoll. Bethan is doing well with her braces. She had a run in with the monkey bars at school causing a lot of bleeding but no longterm damage. Bethan still enjoys arts and crafts, and now cross-stitching. Jeffery is VERY excited about going to Camp Nazareth in the Adirondacks this summer. He's even been working on improving his handwriting skills so that we will be able to read the letters he sends home from camp. As always, books are essential to his life. Ron is SO HAPPY with his new barn. Like a kid in a candy store, he is in the barn any chance he gets. He's been happy to work on his Chrysler Newports and has been refinishing the Adirondack chairs. Laura's been enjoying Community Bible Study, Together Time, and Mommy-hood. Perhaps with Odyssey of the Mind finished she needed "something else" and decided to run for the School Board! |
