| J The summer is speeding by. Swim lessons, Vacation Bible School, Granger Camp, and Camp Nazareth are all done. We enjoyed visits to State Parks, Huey's home, Gettysburg, Lollipop Farm, Strong Museum of Play, and the Geneva Experiment Station. We've seen the new Harry Potter movie (Jeffery saw it twice) and Up. The summer has been cool and wet so the kiddy pool has only been out twice. Perhaps we'll get to enjoy the beach at Kershaw in August. This week all of our "Bender" cousins arrive when Grandma and Aunt Jan return from Alaska. Thomas's 3rd birthday is one week away! We'll enjoy the relatives until they leave on the 18th of August and then we'll get ready to check out the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome and Fire Museum south of Albany. We'll be headed to Eighth Lake for a week of camping this time next month. Jeffery and Bethan are all set for school, but won't find out who their 5th and 2nd grade teachers will be until later in August. |
