| Dr. Herb Bandemer passed away on October 7, 2008 at the age of 83. His three children, and wife of 59 years reminded us of Dr. B's mantra: "IF GOD BRINGS ME TO IT... HE'LL GET ME THROUGH IT." Dr. B hired Laura as a kennal kid at Storybook Farm Veterinary Hospital when she was 14. |
| Laura, the kids, and Grandma began the month with an evening visit to the museum followed by Ron, Jeffery and Bethan enjoying a trip to the circus with Grammy. Next came: Storytime at Wood Library for Thomas, Laura and Thomas's last 2 Community Bible Study days, A Bluebells walk with the Canandaigua Botanical Society, A celebration of preschool teacher, Mrs. Lundeen, Carriage rides at the Granger Homestead, Laura's BOE campaigning, elections and consoling, Ron driving Manlius HS prom kids in his Chrysler, Piano and viola lessons, bike riding, barn playing, Garden planting, lawn mowing, weeding, A visit with Cioci Chris, A night at the drive-in theater, Bethan's Problem Solving Fair at school, Swimming in the new YMCA pool, Ending today with a piano recital for Bethan and Jeffery! |
| Laura did not win a seat on the Canandaigua Board of Education. Being more faithful than competative she has been content knowing that her participation in the elections has served God and had a positive influence. |
