| Dr. Herb Bandemer passed away on October 7, 2008 at the age of 83. His three children, and wife of 59 years reminded us of Dr. B's mantra: "IF GOD BRINGS ME TO IT... HE'LL GET ME THROUGH IT." Dr. B hired Laura as a kennal kid at Storybook Farm Veterinary Hospital when she was 14. |
| February was an exciting month for the Canandaigua Ouimette family. Odyssey of the Mind occupied much of our lives throughout the month as Jeffery's team had their local exhibition on February 7th, Bethan had her local exhibition on February 23rd, and then Jeffery's team went to the Regional Tournament on February 28th. There's no dopubt that we will likely be involved with Odyssey of the Mind again next year. Meanwhile we'll keep our creative minds occupied with "spontaneous" thoughts and excersises. During the Presidents week school vacation we took a trip to visit Aunt Linda's and Uncle George's new log home south of Albany, NY. We also finally visited Aunt Barbara and Walter who moved to the same area back when Thomas was born. We enjoyed a tour of the NYS Capitol and the NYS Museum during our stay near Albany and also took a trip to Amherst, MA. to check out Eric Carle's Museum of Picture Book Art. |
| It's been a year since Ron had his T.I.A. (mini-stroke). We are so thankful for God's "red flag" and appreciate Ron's improved health. We are also thankful for the importance of our friends and family in our lives. We may not keep in touch as well as we'd like to, but please know that you are thought of and cherished dearly. |
