| One of Laura's favorite high school teachers died January 28, 2010. Mr. James Nowak had retired from teaching to begin Building Futures where he built a school and health clinic in Kenya. Mr. Nowak was killed in an auto accident in Kenya. In this video http: //prendismo.mobi/collection/viewclip/11379 Jim Nowak speaks about his personal philosophy and drive. He ends it saying, “I do want to be the 85-year- old guy that looks back and says, well we did some good stuff, you know. Change the world.” He may have only lived here on earth for 59 years, but he’s done more good stuff than most that make it to 85. |

| Ouimette Newsbits Ron continues his search for a swim coaching position. So far, no out of state offers and just recently some local possibilities. We have been praying for God to put us where he needs us and for us to be gracious with God's will, be it staying here in Canandaigua or making a move. Laura has put in a few applications for school counselor postitions but hasn't heard anything yet. Jeffery is at Boy Scout camp this first week of August. His photo made it into the local paper in July: (see it here) Bethan fills her summer with reading, swimming, piano lessons, play dates, Vacation Bible Schools, Rockin' Readers, and library events. Thomas will turn 5 on August 8th. It's still too soon to guess what type of cake he'll be looking for. Jake is a real gentleman when he visits with Maya and has made several other good friends at Elm Manor. This week he is also entertaining Sammy the Brittney Spaniel while Sammy's family vacations. |
