| One of Laura's favorite high school teachers died January 28, 2010. Mr. James Nowak had retired from teaching to begin Building Futures where he built a school and health clinic in Kenya. Mr. Nowak was killed in an auto accident in Kenya. In this video http: //prendismo.mobi/collection/viewclip/11379 Jim Nowak speaks about his personal philosophy and drive. He ends it saying, “I do want to be the 85-year- old guy that looks back and says, well we did some good stuff, you know. Change the world.” He may have only lived here on earth for 59 years, but he’s done more good stuff than most that make it to 85. |

| Ouimette Newsbits Ron has been doing a lot of networking, filling out applications, and sending out resumes in hopes of finding a swim coaching job. We have been praying for God to put us where he needs us and for us to be gracious with God's will be it staying here in Canandaigua or making a move. Laura has been making daily visits to Maya and hopes that she will be able to return home soon. There was one day without rain allowing Laura to plant the vegetable garden and take in plenty of vitamin D. Jeffery was a great help to Bethan this month as he worked with her to master bike riding without training wheels. He discovered interlibrary holds on the computer and has been reading through several of his favorite series. Jeffery helped set out flags in the cemetery and marched with the Boy Scouts in the Memorial Day parade. Bethan took part in a play at school with her class and helped out with the scenery as well. Thanks to her big brother, she had bike riding excitedly mastered within an hour. Thomas had swim lessons at the "racing pool" and finished up with Community Bible School and story time at the Library. He is getting quite excited about Great Start Christian Preschool starting in the fall., Jake did not wake us up to eat a few days in a row and had "unusually stinky putzes" which prompted us to take him to the vet to find out he had Raccoon Roundworm. Thanks to Dr. Yates and three great meds Jake seems unharmed by the potentially fatal worms. |
