| One of Laura's favorite high school teachers died January 28, 2010. Mr. James Nowak had retired from teaching to begin Building Futures where he built a school and health clinic in Kenya. Mr. Nowak was killed in an auto accident in Kenya. In this video http: //prendismo.mobi/collection/viewclip/11379 Jim Nowak speaks about his personal philosophy and drive. He ends it saying, “I do want to be the 85-year- old guy that looks back and says, well we did some good stuff, you know. Change the world.” He may have only lived here on earth for 59 years, but he’s done more good stuff than most that make it to 85. |

| Ouimette Newsbits Ron anxiously awaites word on previous interviews for swim coaching positions. We pray for God to put us where he needs us and for us to be gracious with God's will, be it staying here in Canandaigua or making a move. Laura feels like she has a stove full of kettles - all boiling! Certainly there must be a wonderful feast in the making. Together Time is being passed on, Lego Robotics is just picking up, Canandaigua Botanical Society and the tree commitee hold interest and attention, Community Bible Study plans for leadership help in the preschool program, and then there's the FULL TIME job of Mommy. Jeffery enters 7th grade, moving up in Scouts, continuing with Lego Robotics, piano, and viola. Bethan will be going to 4th grade. Viola, piano, girl scouts, Joyful noise Choir, and possibly swimming with FAST are on her calendar. Thomas is attending GREAT START preschool, Community Bible Study, and "helping" Mom and Dad around the house. Jake enjoyed swimming in Eightht Lake during the camping trip and frequents Elm Manor Nursing Home to visit Maya and everyone else there. |
