| One of Laura's favorite high school teachers died January 28, 2010. Mr. James Nowak had retired from teaching to begin Building Futures where he built a school and health clinic in Kenya. Mr. Nowak was killed in an auto accident in Kenya. In this video http: //prendismo.mobi/collection/viewclip/11379 Jim Nowak speaks about his personal philosophy and drive. He ends it saying, “I do want to be the 85-year- old guy that looks back and says, well we did some good stuff, you know. Change the world.” He may have only lived here on earth for 59 years, but he’s done more good stuff than most that make it to 85. |

| Ouimette Newsbits Ron was very happy throughout the month of April working on finding a job in swim coaching and enjoying time working on his cars in the barn. Please do contact Ron with any ideas or openings in aquatics. We're leaving the possibility of a location change in God's hands. Laura has been making daily visits to our best neighbor and good friend Maya who was hospitalized since April 9th with pneumonia. Maya is currently in rehab at Elm Manor, within walking distance of our Charlotte Street home. Jeffery achieved straight A's on his 3rd quarter report card and enjoyed volunteering to help reshelve books and set up computers at Wood Library. He also enjoyed a weekend camping trip with his Boy Scout troop to the Herkimer Diamond Mines. Bethan began the month visiting a sheep sheering with her book club and ended the month taking her Daddy to a Girl Scout Favorite Fella Dance. Thomas has been enrolled in the GREAT START CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays next year. This way he can continue to enjoy Community Bible Study on Wednesdays with Laura. Jake has missed his best pal Maya but does seem to appreciate her son, Eric, who is "home" for an extended visit. |
